Rayna Ling-Hawkins
Rayna Ling-HawkinsPhysical Therapist - MSPT

Mother, therapist, hippie...

Why I do this... I absolutely love helping people live their lives without pain. It makes my week when I'm able to assist someone in reaching their goals, from sleeping through the night without pain to getting into the x games.

What makes me tick... I love eating good food!!!!!

Bragging rights... First girl wrestler in the state of Hawaii to complete on a high school boys team.

Bucket list... To raise happy kids who will end up being productive people in society.

Words to live by... Love life!!!!!

Rayna graduated with a bachelors degree in sports medicine and a minor in Biology from University of the Pacific in 1997 and received her Masters degree in Physical Therapy in 2000. She has since then taken course in manual therapy including: Mulligan, Maitland, NIAOMT, Kinesio taping, running analysis and exercise science. She enjoys treating the young athlete and the spine but has years of experience treating all orthopedic injuries. When she is not in the clinic she can be found surfing, snow boarding, playing beach volleyball, hiking or hanging out with her family and friends.

Kristine Amii
Kristine AmiiPhysical Therapist - DPT

Why I do this... it’s amazing to watch patients surprise and inspire themselves as they reach goals that, at one point, felt impossible.

Daily ritual... snooze x 3, coffee/espresso, and a quick mid day cardio session for an energy boost.

Major moment... moving from California to Hawaii with my husband and only bringing what we could fit in 4 suitcases.

Kristine grew up in San Jose, California and developed an early interest in fitness, anatomy, and rehabilitation after experiencing and overcoming a running injury of her own in high school. She graduated from San Jose State University with a bachelor's in Biology concentrating in Systems Physiology and went on to earn a master's and doctoral degree in physical therapy from the University of California San Francisco and San Francisco State University.

Although she sees all types of orthopedic conditions, she takes special interest in sports injuries and spent several years working in a post-operative ACL rehabilitation program at her previous job. Her interest in sports rehab and exercise also inspired her to become a certified strength and conditioning specialist in 2014. She is a current member of the American Physical Therapy Association as well as the Orthopedic Physical Therapy Section. Kristine enjoys working with diverse populations and strives to educate and empower her patients. Recognizing the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle, she hopes to help each patient reach their full functional potential.

Since moving to Honolulu in 2015, Kristine spends her weekends hiking, running, doing yoga, and exploring the island with her husband. All this time outdoors, yet she still can't seem to keep a tan! She is always searching for challenging workouts to try and actually looks forward to next day muscle soreness. In her life, she has found that challenge often leads to change. Kristine believes in the power of a positive attitude and will motivate and challenge you to help reach your rehab goals.
